WESLEY CHAPEL - According to the affidavit, the invasion occured on July, 10 2020 near State Road 56 and Wesley Chapel Blvd. A 911 call was received from the teen victim whose identity is being withheld due to Florida’s Marsy’s Law. The victim stated that he had to shoot several intruders that force entry into his home.

Pasco Sheriff Chris Nocco's Statement:

The resident said he was inside his home playing video games when just after midnight he heard the glass of his laundry room door break, according to a sheriff’s office report. He saw an arm reach inside to unlock the door. Then the resident said he saw a masked man walk in and aim a gun at him.

The resident said he grabbed his Glock 9mm pistol, which was just a few feet away, and fired several times at the suspect. He saw the intruder fall down, the report said. More intruders, three total came in. He shot them all multiple times according to reports.

“The victim advised he shot all three intruders because they were armed and forced entry into his home and he believed they were going to kill him,” said an arrest report.
