Wesley Chapel man arrested for sexual battery on a child under 12

WESLEY CHAPEL – A Wesley Chapel man has been arrested this week after law enforcement detectives charged him with sexual battery on a child under 12.

Timothy Massey, 38, Wesley Chapel was taken into custody Monday night at a home on Trinidad Drive in Grand Oaks subdivision of Wesley Chapel. According to detectives, the victim was shown pornographic videos and was sexually battered by Timothy Massey several times.

On April 17, 2020, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Massey. On Monday the 20th, Massey was arrested by the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office. He is being held on over a $500,000 bond.
