According to a recent article in the Tampa Bay Times, Wesley Chapel, Florida is the area of Tampa Bay (West Central, Florida) with the overall highest average annual income. The article cited U.S. Census data as its source.
At $86,885, Wesley Chapel had a substantial lead according to analysis of recently released U.S. Census Bureau data. The number also dwarfed the Tampa Bay area’s typical household income of a little less than $55,000.
According to the Tampa Bay Times: Wesley Chapel households are far more likely to earn at least $100,000 a year and far less likely to experience poverty, the analysis shows.
Another interesting note from the article: A little more than 26,000 full-time workers live in Wesley Chapel.
