With the help of its Wesley Chapel Family Store, The Salvation Army fills a critical gap in female substance dependency by opening the only free rehabilitation program for women in the Tampa Bay Area.
On Wednesday, February 6 at 1 p.m., The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center will dedicate its new women’s dormitory and chapel. As its Wesley Chapel Family Store helps fund this women’s rehabilitation program, the community is invited to share in the celebration by attending its dedication. Since 1950, The Salvation Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) has been providing a 6-12 month residential program to men who want to solve their alcohol and drug problems. Now, with the opening of a separate residence, the ARC is also offering its 12-step, faith-based, long-term rehabilitation program to 30 women who request help to transform their lives
