·1 min read·9

Wesley Chapel residents might catch a break from a series of crimes in the area. Several suspects were arrested Thursday morning in connection with the Wesley Chapel Car Break-ins.

According to the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office,

Deputies were conducting surveillance near Northwood Palms Road and County Line Road in Wesley Chapel when they located an auto burglary in progress around 2:35 a.m. Thursday.

When deputies attempted to make contact with the suspects, three vehicles sped away, making their way south on Interstate 75 and later onto I-275 to Tampa.

After a high speed three county pursuit, the suspects were taken into custody in St. Petersberg by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office. Several other arrests were made in the Lexington Oaks community after Pasco Sheriff’s Office K9 units found more suspects from other burglaries.
