Villa Rosa Veterinary Hospital Cuts the Ribbon on Its New Turman Loop Home Today

Villa Rosa Veterinary Hospital opens the doors of its new Wesley Chapel building to the public today, with an official ribbon cutting and open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 3717 Turman Loop. After six years in the community, the practice has moved into what it is calling its forever home, and pet owners can walk through the new hospital before their next appointment there.

The event is being held with the North Tampa Bay Chamber. Leashed pets are welcome. Bring them.

What is on offer during the three hours: guided tours of the new hospital, a chance to meet the veterinarians and staff, refreshments, photo opportunities and raffles. There is a coloring station for kids and coffee from Travelin' Tom's Coffee Truck. Pets get their own dog treat bar.

Villa Rosa has been seeing patients in Wesley Chapel since 2020. It was founded by Dr. Amanda Esposito Cruz, who built the practice around Fear Free, low-stress handling, the approach of keeping animals calm rather than simply restrained. The hospital's services run from routine preventive care and in-house lab work to digital X-ray, ultrasound, senior pet care, and pain management that includes acupuncture and laser therapy. The new address puts the hospital on Turman Loop, a short commercial street in the 33544 side of Wesley Chapel lined with dental, salon and small medical offices. Business directories still list the practice's older Cashford Circle address, so anyone using an out-of-date saved location on a phone should double-check before driving over.

Moving into a larger, permanent space is the kind of step that gets harder, not easier, as Wesley Chapel's commercial rents climb and new veterinary chains open along the State Road 54 and 56 corridors. An independent practice buying itself more room and staying put is worth a Saturday morning look.
