The Shops at Wiregrass is filling out its storefronts with a wave of new tenants, giving Wesley Chapel shoppers fresh reasons to visit the open-air center at State Road 56 and Bruce B. Downs Boulevard. According to a news release from the center and local media reports, more than a dozen retail, beauty and dining concepts are opening or expanding — with national names like Kendra Scott, lululemon, Drybar and Portland Leather Goods among them.
The additions follow a property-wide revitalization the center completed late last year, and several are already open for business. For families who treat Wiregrass as Wesley Chapel's de facto downtown, it means new places to shop, eat and book a blowout — many of them making their first appearance in the area.
What's already open
Several of the new arrivals have already opened their doors. Drybar — the California salon chain known for blowouts and extensions — began operating in late March. The med spa LaserAway, small-batch ice cream shop OddFellows Ice Cream Co., and Portland Leather Goods are also now open, with Portland Leather marking its first Florida location.
FACE FOUNDRIÉ, a facial bar offering facials, lashes, brows and skincare, rounds out the beauty-and-wellness additions that have recently come online.
What's coming soon
The bigger draws for many shoppers are still on the way. Lifestyle jewelry brand Kendra Scott is set to open at Wiregrass — its second location in the Tampa Bay area — and athletic-apparel giant lululemon is slated to move into a space across from Anthropologie.

On the dining side, Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine is preparing to open on Paseo Drive, bringing its Turkish menu and distinctive interiors to what will be its second Tampa Bay location. Sweet Paris Crêperie & Café — new to the region — has also been announced as an upcoming addition.
Opening dates at Wiregrass have been described broadly as "this summer" and "coming soon." Exact grand-opening dates can shift, so it's worth checking a store's own page before making a special trip.

More than a shopping trip
The new tenants arrive on the heels of a revitalization project the center wrapped up recently. According to the center, that work reshaped the Center Court between Paseo Drive and Piazza Avenue into an expanded open-air green space, with new landscaping, an enhanced fountain, large shade structures, updated lighting and additional seating. The two fountain areas along Paseo Drive were also renovated with more shaded, comfortable seating.

Officials with the center have framed the effort as part of a broader goal to make Wiregrass a place where residents connect and spend time — not just a place to run errands. It's a positioning that matters in a community that has leaned on the center as a social hub since it opened in 2008.
Beyond the newcomers, several existing tenants are shifting into permanent or larger spaces. Local news reports note that Monster Games reopened in a permanent location after nearly a decade in a temporary spot, Nikki's Glitz & Glam Boutique expanded into a storefront roughly 40 percent larger than its previous one, and Fan Outfitters has rebranded as Lids.
The Shops at Wiregrass now features more than 100 brands, boutiques and eateries, and the center has signaled that additional announcements are still to come.
