Suspicious Van Attempts to Pick Up Children

WESLEY CHAPEL - Talk to your children about safety when they are outside. Social media pages in Wesley Chapel are buzzing about a suspicious van that has been seen in several local communities driving around and attempting to talk to children.

By viewing the posts, it appears there are two different vans. According to reports online the driver of the van in one case asked a child to get inside the van with him a few days ago. In another case in Epperson Community of Wesley Chapel the driver asked a woman to get inside and yelled vulgarities at her when she did not comply. A short time later a similar incident unfolded in Seven Oaks according to the Wesley Chapel Facebook Group.

Local authorities have been made aware and are investigating.
