Shooting at local Shopping Leaves Two Injured

LAND O'LAKES, FL - The Pasco Sheriff's Office confirmed a shooting took place on Monday afternoon in the parking lot of the Village Lakes Shopping Center. The incident, which involved four individuals who were known to each other, occurred at approximately 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of US 41 and SR 54 in Land O' Lakes.

According to detectives, the argument escalated and resulted in two adults being shot. The victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment while the two remaining individuals were taken into custody.

At this time, all parties have been accounted for and there is no threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
