WESLEY CHAPEL - According to an email list sent out by an area hospital's security director that was forwarded to our team, a group is planning a protest at the Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel this Saturday June 6th at 5:00 PM. According to posts online on the topic they anticipate about 100 people will show up. Those in the thread say that the event will be a peaceful protest.

The following response was sent by The Shops at Wiregrass:

"The Shops at Wiregrass values our community’s beliefs and supports peaceful protests. However, to protect the safety of our merchants, employees and guests, we are not able to allow this event to take place on our property. Since first learning of this event today in a post on the Wesley Chapel Community web page, we have been working, together with several reliable sources, to attempt to contact the event organizers so we can communicate our position. If you happen to hear anything that would be helpful as we work through this, please let us know. Thanks again!"
