Overnight lane closures continue this week on SR 56 and the I-75 Exit 279 ramp
FDOT's schedule lists nightly lane closures through Thursday, Oct. 15, on the southbound I-75 off-ramp to Wesley Chapel Boulevard and on SR 56 near Bruce B. Downs Boulevard.

Drivers using the southbound I-75 exit to Wesley Chapel Boulevard or State Road 56 near Bruce B. Downs Boulevard after dark should expect fewer lanes tonight and the next two nights, according to the Florida Department of Transportation's District 7 lane closure schedule for Oct. 11–17.
I-75 Exit 279 off-ramp
FDOT lists ramp lane closures on the southbound I-75 Exit 279 off-ramp to County Road 54 (Wesley Chapel Boulevard) from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly from Sunday, Oct. 11 through Thursday night, Oct. 15. The agency says all turns remain available while crews work, so drivers can still turn either direction at the end of the ramp.
SR 56 near Bruce B. Downs Boulevard
On State Road 56, FDOT lists lane closures from west of Bruce B. Downs Boulevard (CR 581) to east of Shops Lane from 8:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., nightly from Sunday, Oct. 11 through Thursday night, Oct. 15. Because the closures run until 7:30 a.m., early commuters heading out before then may still find lanes shut.
Farther north on SR 52
FDOT also lists periodic overnight lane closures on State Road 52 from west of I-75 to Tradeway Boulevard/Pasco Road, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., nightly from Sunday, Oct. 11 through Friday, Oct. 16. Drivers taking SR 52 late at night should allow extra time.
