Near drowning at Epperson Lagoon in Wesley Chapel

According to Pasco Fire Rescue, On June 29th 2019 at approximately 2:20 PM 911 received a call of a drowning at the Epperson Lagoon located at 31855 Overpass Road in Wesley Chapel.

A pregnant female was paddleboarding in the lagoon when she fell into the water and stayed under the surface for approximately 3 minutes. Lifeguards on scene pulled the female from the water.

Pasco County Fire Rescue responded to the scene, stabilized the patient, and responded her to the hospital. The female was breathing, and in stable condition when she was transported from the scene.
