Update — August 14, 2026: The 13-year-old reported missing Friday evening has been found safe, according to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, and the alert has been cancelled. Her name, photograph and physical description were published while deputies were asking for the public’s help and have since been removed from this story.
A 13-year-old girl reported missing Friday evening in Wesley Chapel has been found and is safe, according to the Pasco Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies had asked for the public’s help Friday night, saying the girl was last seen around 7:45 p.m. along State Road 56, the main commercial corridor running through the middle of Wesley Chapel. She was located later that night, the sheriff’s office said on its social media accounts, and the request for residents to watch for her was cancelled.
The sheriff’s office did not say where she was found or describe the circumstances.
