Update — August 14, 2026: Late Friday night, Johnson was found and is safe.
Pasco Sheriff's deputies were searching for [Removed], a missing and endangered 13-year-old last seen the evening of Aug. 14 in the 29900 block of State Road 56 in Wesley Chapel, and they are asking anyone who has seen her to call in. That block sits along the main commercial corridor running through the middle of Wesley Chapel, east of the Shops at Wiregrass, a wide six-lane road ringed by parking lots and long stretches with nowhere much to walk after dark.
She was last seen around 7:45 p.m., according to the sheriff's office. Johnson is 5 feet 6 inches tall and around 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
She was located late Friday night according to Pasco Sheriff's Office social media.
If you have seen her: Call the Pasco Sheriff's Office non-emergency line at 727-847-8102, option 7. Tips can also be submitted at PascoSheriff.com/tips.
Alerts like this one are not unusual in the area, and most end well. Local news reports on recent Pasco County missing-teen cases, including a group of teenagers last seen near State Road 56 earlier this year, ended with the teens found safe and the alerts cancelled.
The sheriff's office posts case updates to its own news feed and cancels alerts once a missing person is located. Until then, the request stands: call the non-emergency line with anything, however small, that might place her.
