Judge Linda Babb of Pasco County signed a Protection Order to prevent Sheriff’s Office from checking on Sex Offender in Pasco County.

It started when Earl Reyes Villagomeza (32) who was convicted and sentenced to time for “Lewd and lascivious molestation of a 12-15 year old.” filed a lawsuit via Tampa attorney Patrick Leduc saying that the county’s ordinances regarding sex offenders has made it impossible for him to find somewhere to live. As a result,

Recently another sex offender, Anthony John Locacio Jr, joined the lawsuit saying that Pasco Sheriff’s Office Deputies were “harassing him” by checking up on him at his home. In the past, Locacio Jr was found guilty and convicted of Sexual Battery of a person under 12 years of age and Lewd and Lascivious Acts on a Child Under 16. He claimed “Post Traumatic Stress Disorder” from his time in prison for his crimes and says Pasco Sheriff’s Deputies are making it worse. Apparently, Judge Linda Babb felt it was appropriate to give him a protection order restricting Deputies from checking on him at his home.
