Pasco County Fire Rescue firefighters and Pasco Sheriffs Office Deputies responded to the Mirada lagoon community just north of Wesley Chapel Thursday morning. Members of the community had called 911 to report that a small puppy was struggling to survive in a swamp in the community.
Specialized equipment and teams from fire rescue and the sheriff's office responded. According to a Facebook post by PCFR , firefighters were able to enter the swamp and retrieve the puppy, and bring it back to its owners, resulting in a happy resolution for all!
