Wesley Chapel, Florida - One person has died in a fatal crash on Interstate 75 just north of State Road 54 in Wesley Chapel this afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
It was reported that a vehicle left the roadway and crashed into the trees alongside the interstate. The incident resulted in at least one fatality. Names have not yet been released.

As a result of the crash, some northbound lanes on I-75 has been closed causing some delays for motorists. Emergency services including the Florida Highway Patrol, Pasco County Fire Rescue and Pasco County Sheriff's Office were called to the scene to manage the situation and clear the area.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Florida Highway Patrol troopers were seen collecting evidence and conducting interviews with witnesses.
