Eiland Blvd at State Rd 54 to close beginning Wednesday Night

Attention drivers: Near the border of where Wesley Chapel becomes Zephyrhills, Eiland Boulevard will be closed on the north side of the SR 54 intersection, beginning after 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021 and lasting until approximately July 28, 2021, weather permitting.

No traffic will be able to pass through the intersection to/from Eiland Boulevard at SR 54 during the closure. SR 54 will remain open to through-traffic and access to Morris Bridge Road on the south side of SR 54 will remain open. The closure is needed to pave multiple layers of asphalt on the north side of the intersection.

DETOUR: Signs will be posted to guide drivers using SR 54, US 301, and Eiland Boulevard. Motorists are advised to add additional time to their schedules to detour around the closed intersection.
