Candy Crawl at The Shops at Wiregrass rescheduled to Sunday, Oct. 18
The free kids' Halloween event at The Shops at Wiregrass now runs Sunday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with treat bags and mini pumpkins for the first 500 kids.
The Candy Crawl at The Shops at Wiregrass has a new date. The mall's events calendar now lists it as rescheduled to Oct. 18, and the organizer's listing on Fun 4 Tampa Kids sets the free event for Sunday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 28211 Paseo Drive.
The first 500 kids get a free treat bag and a mini pumpkin to decorate. Organizers say the bags go while supplies last, so arrive early.
What's planned
The listing includes Touch-a-Truck vehicles, a bounce house and inflatable obstacle course, candy and treats from local businesses, live entertainment, and a costume swap and donation station.
Costumes are optional. A contest for kids, adults and groups is set for 1:30 p.m., with sign-ups at the Fun 4 Tampa Kids/Tampa Bay Moms Group table near the stage. Giveaway entries can be made in advance on Eventbrite or at the event by QR code.
The event benefits TBMG Cares, Inc., a group that supports Tampa Bay moms and their families. The listing notes the mall's common areas are pet friendly.
