44 Million Dollar Wiregrass Sports Complex Plans Finalized

The government of Pasco County is finalizing plans for a massive “sports complex” in the area of Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel.

The project will include indoor and outdoor sports in state of the art recreation areas.Eight outdoor ball fields, an amphitheater, and other amenities.   There will also be a hotel, and a 98,000 square foot multipurpose building.

Pasco County estimates construction will begin in 2018 and finish within about 18 months.

UPDATE: New proposed plans show the park’s design. Also the location will be just south of Estancia at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel.
