Today: 3rd Annual Summer Rum and Seafood Festival to Bring Tropical Celebration to Tampa Premium Outlets

WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — The 3rd Annual Summer Rum and Seafood Festival is set to return to Tampa Premium Outlets this July, promising an extensive tropical celebration for attendees. Scheduled for Saturday, July 13 from 4-9 pm, the festival will feature complimentary samplings from some of Florida’s top rum distilleries, a diverse array of rum cocktails, live music, and nearly a dozen of Tampa Bay’s finest seafood chefs serving their best dishes.

Festival organizers have arranged a variety of ticket options to cater to different preferences. Early-bird tickets, available for $15, include access to the event and free rum tastings. For a more enhanced experience, attendees can choose from two upgrade options: the $35 Rum Bucket ticket, which includes a Fast Pass VIP line allowing guests to skip to the front of the bar lines, and the $75 Gold VIP Upgrade, which offers private reserved seating in front of the stage, rum buckets, private VIP restrooms, and two complimentary drink tickets. Walk-up tickets will be available for $20 on the day of the event.

Attendees are encouraged to “embrace their inner vagabond” as they are transported to an island-themed celebration. The festival will include pirate-themed photo opportunities, appearances by special characters, crab races, and live music throughout the day.

“We are excited to bring this vibrant and unique festival back to Tampa Premium Outlets,” said event organizer Mark Simmons. “This event provides a fantastic opportunity for everyone to enjoy excellent food, outstanding music, and some of the best rums that Florida has to offer. We look forward to seeing everyone enjoy the festivities.”

Tickets for the Summer Rum and Seafood Festival are currently available, and all ticket options can be purchased online. The event promises to be a highlight of the summer season, blending tropical ambiance with delectable seafood and refreshing rum beverages.
