Tampa Premium Outlets to Open Monday 5/4/20
WESLEY CHAPEL – Governor Ron DeSantis announced that on Monday, retailers, including malls, can reopen at 25-percent capacity. The owner’s of Tampa Premium Outlets on State Road 56 in Wesley Chapel have decided to take this opportunity and will open for the first time since closing due to COVID-19 concerns.
With estimates putting 1 in 5 jobs in Florida being retail related, it is a welcome return to income for many workers.
Tampa Premium Outlet management says it will use existing technology to monitor attendance to ensure capacity of areas it operates, and will rely on individual tenants (stores) to manage their own capacity to comply. They’re implementing changes, such as limited food court spacing, while play areas and stroller stations will remain closed.
