If you want to join the fight against crime in Pasco County, the sheriff’s office wants to hear from you.
The agency has a number of positions open right now, including detention deputy posts for those with law enforcement certifications.
Don’t want to wear a badge? That’s OK! The sheriff’s office also has a variety of civilian posts open. It’s hiring nurses, school crossing guards, victim advocates and is even looking for a new assistant director of medical services for the jail.
Pay varies based on the post. School crossing guards, for example, get $9.52 an hour, but that medical director slot pays up to $30.09.
