Wesley Chapel, Florida — A woman has been charged with attempted murder police say she admitted to shooting her husband multiple times early Sunday morning.
Diana Matthews told detectives she got into a heated argument with her husband, George Reavis, around 2 a.m. that turned physical. At some point during the altercation, Matthews said she ran out of their home in the 33000 block of Arthur Drive and he followed her.
When he did, she grabbed a .380 Colt handgun and load a clip into it. She said she then tried to run back to the home but he grabbed her by the hair.
“That’s when I turned around and shot him,” she told investigators.
